Which rules may apply to your apartment
The rent cap applies to certain new tenancy agreements in areas designated by state regulations. Its application to a particular agreement also depends on statutory exceptions and the circumstances of the case. An asking rent alone is not enough for a legal assessment.
We only link a calculator for cities whose rule base has been checked for technical application. If your city is not yet available, this neither means that the rent control applies nor that it does not apply. Use the applicable regulations and, if you have a specific claim, qualified advice.
