Advertise your apartment for free or just create a draft?
This tool creates a draft, not a public listing. You can copy the draft, edit it yourself or save a PDF using the print dialogue. DDORF does not arrange lettings, find tenants or send your information to agencies. There is no publish button.
Clearly state the rental price, living space and amenities
Enter documented figures. Leave unknown costs blank; enter 0 only where an item genuinely does not apply. A rent estimate or city median does not establish that your proposed rent is lawful. State what operating costs include, and avoid omitted or duplicated items.
Check images and energy information before later use
Use only your own or permitted images. Transfer existing energy information from the actual document, not from an estimated year of construction or a general building description. Before using it in an advertisement, required information and exceptions must be checked according to the case. The tool does not confirm legal completeness.
Save draft without registration
JSON is used for later editing and contains the texts, not images. Explicitly open the file again in this tool. You can copy or download texts; the preview can be printed via the browser and saved as a PDF. Entries are not saved automatically: save the file before closing.
Frequently asked questions about preparation
Advertise an apartment for free: is this a public advertisement?
No. Creating your rental draft is free. DDORF does not publish it. We explain this before you enter details and in the preview.
Advertise an apartment online without registering: can I open my draft later?
Yes. Explicitly save the JSON file and open it later in the tool. No account is created. The JSON file contains the texts, not photos.
Advertise a rental apartment: can I add my own photos?
Up to eight JPG, PNG, or WebP files, each with a maximum of 5 MB, are allowed for local preview. They will not be uploaded; please check your image rights before using them later.
Advertise an apartment in Düsseldorf or another city?
The design lets you specify the city yourself and does not require a location model. An automatic price recommendation is not included. Local rental estimates remain limited to the locations actually supported.
