Rent including heating is not automatically the complete housing budget

Check which items are included in the offer. Add any missing heating, electricity, internet, parking space or furniture costs once in the appropriate field. Avoid double amounts if costs are already included in the additional costs flat rate.

Monthly comparison and starting reserve separately

Monthly housing costs comprise basic rent, operating costs and heating, other housing costs and travel costs. The remaining budget is net income minus other expenses, planned reserves and those housing costs. The deposit, moving and setting-up costs are separate liquidity assumptions. The calculator neither determines benefit entitlement nor calculates a legally permissible rent.

What the comparison doesn't say about an apartment

A lower monthly amount does not prove a better location, lower energy consumption or a legally permissible rent. Compare the actual contract, condition and route. Asking rents and local comparative rents are separate types of data; for legal questions, an individual examination is required.
