01What is in the purchase price collection?
The valuation committee’s purchase-price collection is based on notarised sale agreements. It is a different source from public listings. A listing initially shows an asking price; the collection is used to analyse actual agreed purchase prices. Individual comparable transactions and published aggregate market reports are different products.
02Anonymised or identifiable?
The Düsseldorf Valuation Committee generally offers anonymized information without proof of a legitimate interest. For non-anonymized information, special requirements apply according to § 34 GrundWertVO NRW. The fact that information is available from the office does not automatically allow it to be published at will. Apply for the required scope and note the stated intended use.
03Application: prepare this information
Describe the property to be valued and the comparable transactions you need as precisely as possible: location, property type, period and key characteristics. Use the current application form on the official website. Before ordering a paid service, ask the office about its scope and fees. DDORF WOHNEN neither applies on your behalf nor issues official information.

04Cost and free alternative
On the official Düsseldorf website, at least 108 € are quoted for anonymized information based on time spent and for non-anonymized information at least 140 € (accessed 03.10.2026). The specific scope may cost more; check the current fee information. For an initial market overview, the published property market report is another free alternative via BORIS NRW.
05Read comparisons correctly
A lower purchase price for another property does not prove that your apartment is overvalued. Location, condition, rights, size and date must be comparable. An example without any market claim: 240,000 € divided by 80 m² is 3,000 €/m². This calculation does not make two otherwise incomparable apartments comparable. A specialist can select cases suitable for a valuation.
