Work template without examining the individual case. No publication, no inquiry and no contract concluded via DDORF.
First clarify the basics
Check ownership, existing encumbrances and who has to agree to a sale. Collect floor plan, proof of area, construction documents and information about changes and defects. The list is a preparation aid and not proof that every legal requirement has been met.
Distinguish between house and condominium
In the case of residential property, the declaration of division, meeting minutes, annual owners’ association budget and annual statement help to classify common property, ongoing costs and decided measures. For rented properties, the contract documents, deposit and actual rent must be checked. Not every line is required for every object.
Plan offer and handover
Separate the desired offer amount from a reliable value orientation. Document documented properties, known defects and rights to images. Coordinate the process with the notary's office. The handover protocol then documents the condition, keys, meter readings and open points; it does not replace the purchase contract.
How do I store the checklist?
